GOTT GOTT-GSSB-124 Generator Sets and Synchronising Board

This is a typical electrical power generating station complete with synchronizing board but specially adapted for instructional purposes. This system consists of:

Motor Generator Sets

Each set consists of a AC Motor driving an AC Generator. Both machines are mounted on a common base frame. 

The machine specifications are as follows: 

• AC Induction Motor 

• Rating: 40 HP 

• Speed: 1500 RPM nominal

AC Generator

• Rating: 22KVA 

• Speed: 1500 RPM 

• Output: 240/415VAC, 3 phase, 50Hz 

Prime mover control panel

This panel is a compact floor-mounting sheet-metal console used to operate and control the two AC motors (prime movers). This unit is equipped with the following: 

• 2 x Speed Controller 

• 2 x Ammeter 0-60A 

• 2 x Voltmeter 0-500V 

• 2 x Tachometer 0-2000 rpm 

• 6 x Indicating Lights 

• 2 x Circuit Breaker 60A TP 

• 4 x Pushbuttons 

• 1 x Sheet metal console
