Voltage dips and short interruption generator is designed according to IEC6100-4-11, it is to simulate effects of abrupt voltage change, includes voltage dips and short interruption. The voltage dips and short interruption immunity tests are applied to electrical and electronic equipment having a rated input current not exceeding 16A per phase, and for connection to 50Hz or 60Hz AC networks. This is a basic EMC test to assess the immunity of equipment or a system against the voltage dips and short interruptions caused by fault in the network, primarily short circuits, in installation or by sudden large changes of load.
